Abstract: Chinese traditional festival poetry is an important carrier of spreading Chinese culture. How to introduce Chinese festival
poems to the world by means of translation and for the purpose of communication has become a new challenge in the field of translation.
Based on this background, we should first understand the characteristics of Chinese festival poetry and the current situation of its
translation and introduction. Secondly, we should put forward corresponding translation strategies for the development and
dissemination of Chinese festival poems. In specific translation processes, transliteration, addition, omission, conversion and integration
can be flexibly used to make the translated version reflect both the characteristics of festival poetry and its individuality, and help
Chinese festival poetry to go global.
